I really liked these characteristics, especially if the third one is characterized as "lead by example." I am unimpressed however, by the last paragraph about moral absolutism being superior to moral relativism. (That is undoubtedly a thorny debate.) I also fail to see how it is connected to your other points about being a mentor.
Perhaps this is where humility of both the mentor and mentee interest. Both are aware of the dangers of group think and their own aspirations for the outcomes of the relationship. Armed with this knowledge each must feel free to question the factors at play openly thus amelioirating transparency and cognizance of the risks.
Leading by example is as old as humanity and by far the most powerful message one can instill to another human, starting at childhood.
