Standing up for the next generation
Canada Strong and Free launches a new mentorship and skills development program, Conservative Values Tomorrow
It won’t shock you to read more news about Millennials and Gen Zers being inundated with messages that are anti-Canada. You’ve heard the stories from university campuses and public schools about what students are being taught about Canada. And you’ve seen the mainstream media promote polling data that paints a pessimistic outlook about the patriotism of young voters.
But, as a Millennial, I can assure you that there are plenty of proud Canadians in my peer group. I just spent a week attending Calgary Stampede events and met dozens of people my age and younger who are passionate about building on the foundation of our country, rather than tearing it down. Almost every day I receive a message by email or social media from a young man or woman with similar hopes.
We, people who believe in Canada, have a decision to make. Are we going to stand up for the next generation and create opportunities for them to realize their dreams? Or are we simply going to leave young Canadians to fend for themselves inside of institutions that are increasingly hostile to diversity of thought?
The Canada Strong and Free Network has launched a new program with the intention of doing our part to serve the next generation of Canadians. We are focused on young conservatives, and have called the program Conservative Values Tomorrow. Our plan is to identify a cohort of conservatives under 30 and provide them with mentorship and skills development opportunities. If everything goes as we hope, this will become an annual program that reaches Millennials and Gen Zers across the country.
We believe it’s critical to support Canadians who resist the institutional pressure to adopt a woke liberal worldview. And we want young conservatives to know that they’re not alone in this country. Far from it.
If you or somebody you know would like to apply, please visit www.conservativetomorrow.ca (deadline for applications is August 5).

If you wait to support a country (or an organization or a political party) until it's 100% perfect, you will never be able to support anything. Support your country and help it live up to the ideals it was founded on.
